Hannah Stone- Co-artistic Director and performer- Hannah trained as an actor at Bretton Hall, Leeds University. Since then she has gone on to perform and tour with a variety of theatre companies including Arletty Theatre, Winter Walker and Excavate. In 2009 she co-founded The Gramophones Theatre Company. She is a performer, theatre maker, producer and writer. She likes cats and cups of tea.
Ria Ashcroft-Co-Artistic Director and performer/deviser- She is a physical theatre performer, theatre maker, producer and circus artist. She has been making theatre and out door performances for the past 15 years and is passionate about empowering communities and individuals. In 2016 Ria founded CircusHub, a venture to bring circus to everyone regardless of social background, ethnicity or gender. Ria delivers workshops in circus skills and aerial and directs larger scale shows with members of the community, teaching skills in trapeze, acro balance, hulla-hooping, clowning and performing. She has worked with a number of different marginalised groups; directing shows, delivering workshops and encouraging confidence building through achievement.
Kristy trained as an actor at Clarendon College in Nottingham. She went on to work with Pintsize Theatre Company, a Theatre in Education Company with a wealth of experience making shows and delivering workshops to children and young people about issues such as teenage pregnancy and alcohol abuse. She gained experience performing in different environments from primary school halls, secondary school classrooms, to pupil referral units and secure units for young people. Kristy has devised solo shows in the past for Hatch Nottingham and created a 10 year project entitled Minding Pennies that questions patience, time, value and accountability. She has performed in and devised all The Gramophones shows to date
