The Gramophones Theatre Company are looking for a Production Manager to tour our production Wanderlust to rural venues. We are ideally looking for someone with a base in Nottingham for the following dates:

6th to the 10th Feb- Rehearsals in Nottingham

11th and 12th CUMBRIA (travel out on 11th and back on 13th)

15th, 17th, 18th, 19th WALES (travel out on 15th and back on 20th)

25th and 26th NORFOLK (travel out on 25th and back on 27th)

2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th March- Lincolnshire/Leicestershire- travel home each night

Total fee £1650 (all accomodation and travel provided)

Skills required

  • Experience setting up and using lights and sound equipment- we have a simple rig of 8 lights and desk that we tour with us
  • Ability to run sound, lights and projection for production
  • Be familiar with Q-Lab or willing to learn quickly
  • Experience with projection mapping or willing to learn quickly
  • Be responsible for making sure schedules are put together
  • Liaising with venues about technical and production details
  • Be friendly organised and have great teamwork skills
  • Ideally experience touring to rural venues
  • Fixing props and set during rehearsals and on tour
  • Possibly sourcing extra props and costumes if required
  • Completing show reports
  • Packing and driving the van- must be 25 years old, have been driving for two years and have no more than six penalty points on the license (the driving will be shared with two others)
  • Working under direction of director and artistic director
