We are a theatre company based in Nottingham, who specialise in witty, interactive theatre with a twinkle in its eye. Our work is informed by clowning techniques and as a result is playful, fun and engaging. We place our audiences at the centre of our performances and regard them not only as voyeurs but as players in our work.  We all have a wealth of experience working within theatre as both performers and practitioners. We are an all-female company who came together in 2009 through the chance discovery of notes in cafes. They read ‘Looking for quirky performers for a theatre project’. They were placed there by Hannah Stone, Artistic Director, to bring a group of like-minded theatre makers together.

In 2009 we were commissioned by HATCH Nottingham to make a piece of theatre for their HATCH:Abroad event which was an event that took over the whole of Broad Street in Nottingham for a night of the unexpected. The piece created was the starting point for our show Anything to Declare, a quirky comedy on the theme of holidays, which went on to receive a five star review at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011.

In 2o10 we were invited by Theatre Writing Partnership to take part in their Crossovers scheme to develop a new piece of theatre. We worked alongside TWP and Claire Duffy of Unlimited Theatre to create our children’s show, Wild Duck.

In April 2012 we made a daring and unusual journey from one end of Great Britain to the other. Trusting only to our resourcefulness and the kindness of strangers we made an 18-day journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats. We completed our unusual expedition on as many varieties of transport as we possibly could with only one pound per mile to do it.

In End to End we tell the uplifting and heartwarming story of our journey, the trials and tribulations faced along the way, and the unexpected acts of kindness we encountered. Exploring friendship, personal risk and momentary connections made on the road, we wonder whether the seeds planted will grow into something more meaningful. We take the audience on a unique journey leaving them itching for their own adventure. The show recently toured from Lands End to John O’Groats.
